The quarry is located in the municipality of Macael in the province of Almeria (Spain).
From the stone blocks extracted mechanically, we proceed to the manual production of the bright quartzite stone available in three shades: blue, brown and mixed and several formats: irregular slabs 2-3 cm, irregular slab 3-5 cm, small blocks for masonry 4-6 cm, blocks for masonry 8-12 cm and different finishes: natural or aged.
It is also possible a pressure and a disc cut of this stone and the most common dimensions available, given the special hardness and strength of this rock, are: 20 cm for free length and 30 cm for free length (thickness 2/3 cm or 3/5 cm), as well as 10 cm x 10 cm x free length (small sheathed blocks for masonry), 10 cm x 10 cm x 4/6 cm or 12 cm x 12 cm x 4/6 cm (paving stones).
The blue, brown or mixed bright Almeria quartzite is ideal for floors and walls, both interior and exterior.
It is one of the natural stones most used in Spain in the decoration of gardens and in the construction of houses, swimming pools and pedestrian walks.
It is possible to substantially increase production to supply large works.
In 2015 we supplied the mixed bright quartzite stone for the construction of the high-speed Spanish train line L.A.V. ANTEQUERA-GRANADA in the section: Nudo de Bobadilla-Antequera.

We also produce in the quarry three other types of local stones with greater recognition: golden brown, yellow and white quartzite.
The white quartzite is lately very fashionable. We have several models and sizes, above all for the masonry, depending on the finish you want to achieve.
The most popular pebbles & cobbles and gravels, for gardening and decoration uses, such as: white, yellow, green, red, blue gray and dark gray, available in various sizes and different transport formats: in bulk, in BIG BAG, in cages and in small bags, also come from Macael, from the marble of Macael (Almeria – Spain).
